The digital technology at Bettagere Orthodontics is providing better orthodontic treatment for our community.
The i-Tero scanner is a digital scanning device that is used to create a 3D model of your teeth. This technology is seven times more accurate than traditional impression techniques, meaning that your orthodontic appliance will fit much better. Additionally, digital models can be stored and used again if needed, which is helpful if you lose your retainer or require additional appliances in the future. Overall, the i-Tero scanner provides a more accurate and convenient experience for patients undergoing orthodontic treatment.
One of the primary benefits of in-office 3D printing is that it enables us to create your aligners right here in our office, rather than having to ship them off to a lab. This saves you a considerable amount of time, as you won't have to wait for new aligners to be shipped back to our office every few weeks.
If you're considering orthodontic treatment, be sure to ask us about our in-office 3D printing capabilities. We can answer any questions you have and help you decide if this treatment option is right for you.
Cone Beam 3D Imaging. The i-CAT FLX V-Series offers three maximum fields of view (FOV): V8, V10, and V17. Within these sizes, you have the option to scale or collimate the scan height to capture only the area of interest per the patient’s immediate need. The system also provides enhanced low-dose imaging options, dedicated traditional 2D panoramic capabilities, and the feature-rich treatment planning software.
With the I-CAT FLX V17, clinicians can understand exact tooth position and the relationship of anatomy so they can map the most effective, least invasive treatment plan for the best alignment. Correct root angulations and find supernumerary teeth and their exact locations to enhance communication with oral surgeons. Additional treatment modules in the 3D treatment planning software, including 3D cephalometric analysis, virtual studies and impressionless models, make planning even more powerful.
Enhanced communication with oral surgeons: Clinicians can utilize the image data provided by i-CAT FLX V17 and the 3D treatment planning software to correct root angulations and find exact locations of supernumerary teeth. Exploratory surgery may be prevented based upon the clinician's better understanding of the patient's conditions.
Additional Treatment Modules: Planning is even more powerful with 3D cephalometric analysis, virtual studies, and impression-less models. Incorporate CBCT scans in digital orthodontic treatment plans and personalized appliances.
